Human Resources Case Study — Executive Recruitment

A local nonprofit healthcare organization needed assistance with recruiting a Vice President, Development for its relatively new and unknown Midwest office. The client had tried to fill the position several times, but they were unsuccessful in finding the right candidate.

Realizing their need for a professional recruitment assistance, the client engaged Warren Whitney to lead their executive search. We cast a broad net for recruiting candidates using a combination of Internet postings and tried-and-true networking tactics. After developing a sizable pool of qualified candidates, finalists were referred to the client’s search committee to select the best candidate to join their executive team.

The position was successfully filled with a highly qualified and experienced executive. Due the success of the search, the client reengaged Warren Whitney a few months later to recruit a Vice President, Development for it’s Richmond, Va. headquarters.
