Marcia joins Warren Whitney after serving as the finance manager for Saint Gertrude High School. As the finance manager, she prepared the financial statements and board reports while overseeing the payroll, audit preparation, and investment accounts. In addition, she managed the accounts receivable, accounts payable, and FACTS tuition management system while serving on various boards for the school. Marcia worked with the Head of School for scholarships, financial aid awards, benchmarking salaries, and tuition rates.
In addition to her experience at Saint Gertrude’s, Marcia has served as a controller and assistant controller for various industries, including insurance, retail, and education. Marcia particularly enjoys working with churches maintaining their books, and acting as the bookkeeper. She has a deep knowledge of QuickBooks, Blackbaud, FACTS, Power Church, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs. Marcia typically serves organizations as a fractional Senior Accountant providing accounting and bookkeeping services.
