Before joining Warren Whitney, Abonni spent more than 30 years working across accounting, finance, human resources, and administration. She has worked with more than 450 organizations on domestic and international initiatives across a range of industries.

Her experience includes serving as a Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Controller, leading financial transformation initiatives, strengthening accounting processes, and helping organizations implement new systems. She has developed approaches that bring technology, policies, and people together so that new financial systems and processes work in practice, not just on paper.

Abonni also has a strong interest in teaching and developing others. She uses real-world examples to make complex accounting and financial concepts easier to understand, helping teams build their knowledge and become more confident in the systems and processes they use every day.
